I love everything about Christmas, it is my favorite time of year. After all, it’s what you make it. Some people are cynical about it, that I can’t understand. I’m very lucky to have my family around me on the Christmas vacation, but I do understand people being lonely at this time of the year. Every parent will know, it was a very special time when the kids were little. It’s the magic of the Christmas vacation seeing their stockings lined up and their excited faces waiting for Santa Claus. Sometimes kept us up late when we are waiting for them to go to sleep so we could sneak off into their bedrooms to fill Santa’s sack. We would always leave a sherry and a slice of Christmas cake for Santa and this had unusually vanished by morning, noteworthy.

I think, the best thing about Christmas is my family, the second best of all is the food! I love my eating any time, but Christmas lunch rules. I like a traditional meal of the turkey with all ingredients. It must have mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, onion sauce, cranberry sauce, maroon filling, bread sauce and rung. A Christmas vacation is not real until you have had cognac sauce and Plum pudding and. If the lunch is digested, in the end, it is a time for warmed mince cakes and turkey-occupied breads. The next day the rests are great also.

Of course Christmas gifts are very welcome. I love to see them everything muffledly in bows and expectantly under the tree seated. The Christmas vacation is as pleasant to give them how receipt of them. I love to find the precise thing for my beloved ones and to see their facial light in the Christmas morning. After dinner is normally our quiet time if we play our new games or read our new books. It was given a lot by the Christmas vacation to building up train tracks or spent Lego building sets, when our children were young.

It’s also a good time watch TV and to relax. It doesn’t matter if we’ve all seen The Wizard of Oz may be twenty times. Normally there are a lot good movies on these days. After the big dinner I normally become a little bit tired and I like to rest a little bit. The magic of Christmas has stayed with our children. I’m glad to say now they are older. I hope that there remains so always. I would be glad to spend time with my grandchildren on their Christmas vacation. Then we’ll going to order a bigger turkey and a bigger dinner table.
