Road trips absolutely should induce two things: great vacation spots to visit, and romantic destinations to stay. What I mean is, you are riding in an automobile for the better part of a day, weekend, or even a whole week, and unneeded frustration when you are supposed to be on traveling is just no good for a relationship.

Boston is definitely worth the stop in. Skyscrapers and landmark parks awaiting you. Especially Boston Public Garden you should visit. Enjoy really perfect tulips, large weeping willow trees over a clean pond, and at just about every corner you'll find musicians to serenade you and your love.
Close to Public Garden is the theater district and historic landmarks. One of them is Green Dragon the meeting place of our forefathers. Make a stop for a few of Sean's Happy Juice. Trust me, it is not to be missed! You won't believe it's alcoholic. Then eat a bit of the original Cheers, because you shouldn't driving drunk.
Your next destination New Hampshire has a lot to offer sun, sand, and a fantastic overnight stay. Drive to northeast toward Hampton Beach, and in just about an hour you'll come to Victoria Inn, quite possibly the most romantic Bed and Breakfast. Try and arrive relatively ahead of time for as much complimentary wine as you can handle.
Each room is well equipped with soft comfortable settings, beautiful antiques, and cozy homely brick-a-brack. Awake to the flavor of fresh coffee, while a first-class breakfast, prepared right there in their very own kitchen is awaiting you. After walking about 15 minutes to the beautiful Hampton Beach you can do there a lot of activities to keep you busy. However, don't stay too long, because there's really much to see.
Next visit Purple Mountains Majesty where you can find your own rock. Close to the town of Grafton, near Isinglass Mountain at Ruggles Mine you are able to mine for your own precious and semiprecious stones. Usually you don't have any equipment. That doesn't matter, because they have a lot there for you to rent and use. However, the best part, whatever you mine, you keep for free. If you can carry it out it's yours, you only have to pay for your admission and rental fees. I have walked out with several pretty marvelous amethyst and agate stone mostly, gemstones that I would have otherwise an arm and a leg to pay for.
After all, visit now to the Green Mountains. When going to there be sure you have sufficiently gotten away from everything and I mean, really everything. Woods Island State Park at St. Albans Bay, Vermont is just plain gorgeous. It is a totally different experience in a state that is usually famous for its bed and breakfasts. Even though if you would rather a nice soft bed after all that mining, go ahead to Springfield Vermont where is located Bull Run Farm bed and breakfast. They only offer two rooms for guests, so it is a very quaint and relaxing setting, but also in high demand. The countryside on the way back, whatever route you go, is truly stunning.
